A Little Ray of Giving 2025 | Help Us Support Bear Cottage This Christmas

By Sarah Bell

Each year, the Ray White network comes together to spread kindness and brighten the Christmas season for those who need it most through our much-loved community initiative, A Little Ray of Giving. The program encourages local communities to donate gifts for children and families in need, helping to make Christmas a little brighter for those facing challenging circumstances.

This year, Ray White Northern Beaches is proud to be supporting Bear Cottage Children’s Hospice — an extraordinary facility located in Manly that provides care, comfort, and respite to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. As the only children’s hospice in NSW, Bear Cottage plays a vital role in offering support, compassion, and a home-like environment when it is needed most.

We are inviting our community to join us by donating new, unwrapped gifts (placed in a gift bag) to help bring joy to Bear Cottage families this Christmas. From Lego and craft kits to sensory toys, vouchers, teens’ bath and body products, pyjamas, Bluetooth speakers and books, every gift has the power to create a moment of happiness and relief for a child or sibling navigating a difficult journey.

Donations can be dropped off at any Ray White Northern Beaches office until Tuesday 26 November. Gifts received after this date will continue to support children and families staying at Bear Cottage over the Christmas period and throughout 2026.

Every contribution, no matter how small, helps bring comfort, joy and a little light to families who need it most. We’re incredibly grateful to all who join us in supporting this meaningful initiative and helping us make a real impact within our local community.
