Ray White Northern Beaches expands with new Elanora Heights office

By Sarah Bell

David Walker and Charles Caravousanos have expanded their footprint on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, acquiring Hunter Estate Agents in Elanora Heights to add a ninth office to their growing real estate group.

The powerhouse duo own Ray White’s top performing office group in Australasia with Ray White Upper North Shore and Northern Beaches.

Consistently the highest selling agency on the Upper North Shore with six offices from Roseville to Pennant Hills, David and Charles set out to expand their unique brand of success to the Northern Beaches in July 2024. Since launching on the Northern Beaches, with offices in Manly and Mona Vale, the business has exceeded all expectations, selling almost $44 million worth of properties from 19 sales along Sydney’s famous coastline.

This third office in Elanora Heights is strategically positioned between Mona Vale and Manly, giving the group a dominant presence across the entire peninsula, and positioning the team for a strong start to 2025. With proven agent training, unsurpassed support structures and an in-house crafted Associate Development Program, recruitment of agents and associates is well underway.

Duane Hunter, owner of Hunter Estate Agents is staying on as key sales agent, along with his entire team. Charles and David’s vision for Ray White Northern Beaches closely aligns with the culture and values that Duane has developed over 15 years in business.

“I established my business 15 years ago, and we’ve grown into a trusted name in the local market,” Mr Hunter said.

“Our focus has always been on community, market expertise, and achieving successful sales for our clients.”

Duane highlighted the advantages of joining Ray White’s extensive network.

“Ray White’s advanced technology, training, and resources will help us elevate our services, ultimately giving my vendors and landlords a higher level of service than ever before,” he said.

“We’re excited to work alongside Charles and David, given their success in developing a high-performing team at Ray White Upper North Shore and Northern Beaches yet retaining a close knit, fun and respectful culture.”

Duane and his team have a strong history of community involvement, sponsoring local sporting clubs and events, including the Elanora Heights Village Christmas Markets. In 2022, they raised $6,000 for Gotcha4Life Foundation, and in 2023, they supported MWP Care.

Charles warmly welcomed the addition of Duane and his team to the Ray White Northern Beaches family.

“We are excited to continue building our presence across the Northern Beaches, and adding this ninth office in Elanora Heights complements our existing locations to fully service the Northern Beaches real estate market,” he said.

“With the size of our business across the Upper North Shore and Northern Beaches, we have immense power to offer vendors connections between these key luxury markets where buyers are coming from.”

David expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity to welcome Duane and his team into the group.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Duane and his team under the Ray White banner. Duane’s business culture aligns closely with ours – built on respect, a high-performing team, and a strong sense of family. Together, we’re ready to make 2025 our best year yet,” he said.
